Anatomy of an Insights Report

• For users familiar with previous versions of intelligentVIEW Profile Reports you will notice significant functionality enhancements facilitating insights creation, program planning in the new Insights Report.
• Of the many enhancements, perhaps the most significant you’ll notice is the dynamic updating of all report modules based on the intelligentSEGMENTS you select for your analysis.

Header

The Header of the Report contains basic information about the report including the name of the Report, the intelligentVIEW core data version that the report is being run on and the Audience file being used for analysis in the report. In addition, saved reports also contain information about the creation and most recent update to the report. The report can also be saved, saved as a new report and shared from the header.

Report Module Selector (Left Nav)

All of the reports modules in intelligentVIEW are categorized based on the type of information they contain. Some of the larger categories like Demographics, Expenditure, Lifestyle are further subdivided into individual modules. For example, the Demographics module is further subdivided into

• Age, Gender and Family Structure
• Dwellings
• Education and Employment
• Ethnicity, Language and Immigration
• Wealth and Income

In addition, you also have the ability to choose which modules are visible in the report. This is useful when you want only a limited amount of information displayed, as well as if you want to share your report with someone outside your organization.

Refine Audience Side bar (Right Nav)

The Refine audience sidebar can be accessed by clicking on the button on the right side of the screen. It acts as a condensed view of the Opportunity Dashboard and is used to refine the audience based on the intelligentSEGMENTS selected as well as to select the benchmark geography that you want to compare the Audience File against.

Body

This is where all the reports information lies in the form of charts, tables and summary information.
